Description: This website features several galleries of photographs taken by Tibetan monks. The subject matter is largely everyday activities and life in the monastery, yet also documents major events such as graduation ceremonies and visits by the Dalai Lama. Although the layout of the galleries is very professional, these photographs are important in their own right as self-representations of Tibetan monks and their way of life in modern day India. The website also includes an interface for donating money or photography supplies to the Tibetan Photo Project.
