An ethnographic study of the Kuswar by the author is presented with the help of a man named Sarkiman who is Kuswa and was a traveling companion of the author for more than ten years. The article explores the origin of Kuswar through old tales and studies in central Nepal. It discusses Kuswar habitation and social organization. The article explains their social belief system along with the ceremonies they celebrate in different months. There are details on their rituals practiced during ceremonies like Puja and Tika. The article ends with the question of how Kuswar will be affected in the future by new technology.
