This article discusses the rituals carried out in the gwaye da tayegu ceremony which took place in Nepal on Magh 1, 2035. The article is written with the discussion of rituals based on the author's own field observation of gwaye da tayegu and the author's consultation with the key informants who are in charge of samyak ceremony. Apart from describing rituals, the author tries to discuss some of the key elements in relation to other features of religious and social life of Newar Buddhist. Samayak is a guthi. The article describes the samayak guthi along with the rituals practiced in the ceremony in detail.
