Description:
A folder with maps of the counties in Rnga ba (Ch. Aba) Prefecture in Sichuan Province, China. The maps are taken from the place name directories (di ming lu) published in China in the 1980s. The folder includes full color reproductions of 9 county maps (Xiaojin, Rangtang, Hongyuan, Jinchuan, Nanping, Songpan, Li, Maowen, and Aba), black and white xerox copies of 11 county maps (Rong'ergai, Aba, Songpan, Heishui, Jinchuan, Rangtang, Wenchuan, Maowen, Nanping, Xiaojin, and Li), and a black and white xerox copy of a map of the whole prefecture. The maps give the locations of major towns and villages, but rarely include monasteries. (Ben Deitle 2009-08-17)
