The Drepung portal has three substantial essays. “An Introduction to Drepung Monastery” introduces the monastery overall, while “An Explanation of Drepung’s Colleges” explains the four colleges which are the real administrative organizations that together constitute Drepung Monastery. “Tibetan Monastic Education” addresses Tibetan monasticism overall with a focus on the educational system.
