The Courtyard of the Jetsang Regional House (byes gtsang khang tshan)

This is a typical courtyard (rdo gcal) of a middle-sized regional house. Above the women who is washing, on the second story, is the regional house temple. Panning right, you can see a side-view of the debate throne (dam khri), and behind and to the right of that, the rooms that served as monks’ living quarters.
