The Courtyard of Kongpo Regional House (kong po khang tshan)

You are facing east. The stairs in front of you lead to the regional house temple, located to your left. On the right, you see a long row of monks’ living quarters, three stories high. Pan to the left and you will see the debate throne (dam khri). This regional house is one of the best preserved at Sera, though some portions have been rebuilt from scratch.
