Two women sit on a bench, relaxing after having circumambulated the stūpa. Behind them is the Sera Central “Sand Street” (bye gzhung). Pan to the left and you will see the stūpa surrounded by mani-wheels. Continue panning left. Behind the old monk is the Samlo Apartment House (bsam lo spyi khang), otherwise known as Chöndzé Ling (chos mdzad gling). Continuing left, in the distance, beneath the mountain, you can see the corner of the Purchok Lama’s Residence (phur lcog bla brang).
