360º Panoramas of Sera Monastery in Tibet
Image Panning: Hold left mouse button down and drag left or right.
Zoom In/Out: Use the Shift & Ctrl keys on your computer keyboard.
You are facing south. Zoom out. Like all of Sera’s apartment houses, this one consists of four wings of monks’ living quarters around a central courtyard. Pan right and you will see the entrance to the apartment compound. Continue panning right until you see the yellow wing of rooms (with many potted plants on its balcony) behind the solar water-heater. This is the residence of the former disciplinarian of Sera, who retired in 2005.
