You are looking east, at a row of mani-wheels, and behind it, the huge Samlo Stūpa (bsam lo mchod rten), the largest stūpa at Sera, rebuilt in the 1990s. Zoom out and pan left. The long building you see is the Samlo Apartment Compound (bsam lo spyi khang). Continuing to the left, you see first (more distant) the temple of the Trehor Regional House (tre hor khang tshan gyi tshoms), and then closer and partially underground, its kitchen (tre hor rung khang). Finally, continuing left, you see the rear (northern) wall of the Keutsang Lama’s Residence (ke’u tshang bla brang).
